After ending a 36-year title drought last season, University of the Philippines will gun for a second straight crown in men’s athletics even as UST will shoot for a six-peat in the women’s side scheduled on March 21 to March 25 at the PhilSports Track Oval in Pasig City.

University of the East will aim for a three-peat in the boys’ athletics and a five-peat in the girls’ category.

Twice-to-beat Far Eastern University-Diliman will collide with Adamson University as action in the high school basketball stepladder semifinals may resume on Friday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

The Baby Tamaraws and the Baby Falcons will duke it out for the right to face reigning champion Nazareth School of National University which earned an outright finals berth after sweeping the 14-game eliminations.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited tipoff of the women’s and men’s volleyball hostilities still hangs in the balance following the postponement of the opening ceremony last February 15.

The new schedules of the football tilts and high school beach volleyball are yet to be announced as well.
