Eighty swimmers pocketed the Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awards in their respective age-groups in the 4th BEST Swimming Challenge -1st TYR Cup Invitational recently held at the Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite.
Winning MOS in Category A were Ceilo Espiritu, Alyssa Cabatian, Angela Honrada, Rana Leyrian, Isha Villa, Shaina Andal and Ani Ona in girls, and Lance Tacdol, Brendan Vinas, Peter Dean, Miguel Cagulangan, Marcus Dekam and Jordan Lobos in boys.
Sharing the spotlight in Category B were Winston Taggs, Behrouz Madi Mojdeh, Lance Andres, Ezekiel Belbes, Jhunery Vinluan, Noel Nunez, Nathan Adalin, Samuel Caguimbal, Renz Savalbaro and Christian Evalla (boys), and Drei Tumamamo, Dastain Cabinta, Bella Fano, Gail Lamboloto, Karla Jatulan, Dawn Camacho, Iris Salagubang, Emilya Torres, Althea Villapena and Danya Ona (girls).
Not to be outdone were Category C MOS winners Anya Dela Cruz, Polina Reyes, Jamiel Esleta, Gia Ignacio, Chloe Pascua, Wianka Togores, Trishia Depilo, Leila Yparrague, Abby Ilagan, Shanna Borja and Marianne Gallardo (girls), and Kean Sy, Nathaniel Camilon, Winston Taggs, Price Navalesca, Ervin Willareal, David Buenavista, Dirk Vistro, Prince Flores, Luis Ramirez, Shawn Santander, Erick Bargado and Kurt David (boys).
In Motivational, Xhyrille Valenzuela, Nathaniel Camilon, Lucas Leonor, Mattlee Galvey, Gellert Hernandez, Jhan Tayona, Julian Sevilla, Louis Leonor, Marion Berberabe, Jorg Maligat, Miguel Esmundo and Gabriel Pelenio were the MOS in boys, and Kylee Magtangon, Elleana Urbano, Claire Co, Kyzel Del Rosario, Maria Pargas, Khym So, Kyle Lumbad, Gia Ignacio, Anne Alvarez, Ryah Tolentino, Sophia Ramirez and Rose Violeta in girls’ class.
The tournament organized by Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (BEST) and supported by The Manila Times, served as qualifying for international tournaments in Malaysia, United States and Japan.
